Campanas y Relojes Rosas have been selected by the Traditional Building Cultures Foundation and INTBAU Spain as the master craftspeople of the month for April 2025.
Campanas y Relojes Rosas is a family firm with a long tradition of bell-founding. The saga of founders goes back to the 17th century in the Albaida area, between Valencia and Murcia, traditionally known for bell-making. The Torredonjimeno foundry has been functioning continuously since 1880.

Currently, Campanas y Relojes Rosas focuses primarily on the restoration and production of bells and their accessories — such as yokes or headstocks, clappers, swinging hammers, bell controllers and drives — as well as the manufacturing of clocks and carillons.
For bell casting, they use a traditional process based on the lost-wax technique, which involves creating a mold made up of three parts: the core (a negative of the interior), the false bell (a wax replica featuring inscriptions and decorative elements), and the “capa”, which encases the whole and leaves a cavity for pouring the molten bronze.
