The publication presenting the results of the 2024 Iberian Summer School is now available.
It will be officially launched on October 18 at 4:00 p.m. at the Casa das Artes in Arcos de Valdevez.
The Casa das Artes in Arcos de Valdevez is also hosting, until the end of October, the exhibition of the works produced during the Summer School. This initiative is part of ARQOUT2025 – Architecture Month, coordinated by the Ordem dos Arquitectos de Portugal.
In July 2024, nearly thirty students of different nationalities spent two weeks at the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Peneda, in the heart of the Peneda-Gerês National Park. From there, they studied and documented examples of vernacular architecture in various nearby villages and developed design proposals inspired by traditional models.
