The Traditional Building Cultures Foundation has participated in the ENTRELAZAR conference

On September 27 and 28, the ENTRELAZAR conference was held at Os Casares (San Cristovo de Mouricios, Chantada, Lugo). The event was organized by the Fundación Artesanía de Galicia and the Xunta de Galicia, with the collaboration of Espacio Vilaseco and the curatorship of Inés Sistiaga.

Conceived from a cross-disciplinary perspective on basketry, the conference created a space for intergenerational dialogue that brought together professionals from different fields connected to this craft. The program addressed its historical and technical dimensions as well as its relevance in contemporary contexts, with reflections on the relationship between tradition, innovation, and industry, as well as on the role of crafts in today’s ecological, social, and productive transformation.
