{"id":27347,"date":"2026-09-22T11:13:11","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T09:13:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/living-legacy-grants-for-fostering-and-spreading-the-traditional-building-cultures\/"},"modified":"2026-09-22T11:38:55","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T09:38:55","slug":"living-legacy-grants-for-fostering-and-spreading-the-traditional-building-cultures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/en\/living-legacy-grants-for-fostering-and-spreading-the-traditional-building-cultures\/","title":{"rendered":"Living Legacy: Grants for Fostering and Spreading the Traditional Building Cultures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Traditional Building Cultures Foundation has launched <strong>Living Legacy: Grants for Fostering and Spreading the Traditional Building Cultures<\/strong>, a new international grant program designed to support initiatives that contribute to the study, practice, documentation, preservation, transmission, and dissemination of traditional architecture and building cultures.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new program is made possible thanks to the support of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/en\/support-us\/\">Friends of the Foundation<\/a><\/strong>, whose contributions provide new resources for projects led by researchers, professionals, craftspeople, institutions, and other individuals and organizations committed to this field.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its first call, for 2027, <strong>three grants of up to \u20ac3,000<\/strong> each will be awarded. Applications are open to individuals, as well as associations, foundations, universities, research centers, cultural institutions, and other organizations whose activities align with the objectives of the program. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call will remain open from <strong>September 22 to December 1, 2026<\/strong>. The results will be announced on <strong>February 1, 2027<\/strong>, and the selected projects must be completed by <strong>December 31, 2027<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call is open to projects of various kinds, including research and documentation projects; publications; exhibitions; courses, workshops, and other training activities; initiatives for the transmission of traditional building trades; educational and outreach programs; audiovisual productions and archives; digital tools and resources; and pilot or experimental projects, among others.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Proposals may be submitted in <strong>Spanish or English<\/strong> and will be evaluated by a jury composed of members of the Foundation\u2019s team, distinguished professionals from fields related to traditional building cultures, and representatives of the Friends of the Foundation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>All required documentation, as well as the application itself, must be completed and uploaded through the application form provided by the Foundation. Applications or documentation submitted by any other means will not be accepted.
