During the event, <strong>the municipalities selected in the first phase of the Richard H. Driehaus Architecture Competition 2025\u20132027<\/strong> were also announced. The Building Arts Awards <strong> <\/strong>recognise the leading masters of the building trades in Spain.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both initiatives are promoted by the <strong>Traditional Building Cultures Foundation<\/strong>, with the support of the <strong>Spanish Ministry of Culture<\/strong> and in collaboration with <strong>INTBAU Spain<\/strong> and the <strong>Higher Council of the Colleges of Architects of Spain (CSCAE)<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Ceremonia2026-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25863\" srcset=\"https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Ceremonia2026-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Ceremonia2026-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Ceremonia2026-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Ceremonia2026-2-1536x1025.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Ceremonia2026-2-2048x1366.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/culturasconstructivas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Ceremonia2026-2-600x400.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s edition recognised the achievements of master stonemason <strong>Ga\u00ebtan Chapel<\/strong> in the masonry and stonework category; carpenter <strong>Ram\u00f3n Ca\u00f1il Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> in the carpentry category; brothers <strong>Manuel and Jacinto J. P\u00e9rez Entrena<\/strong>, specialists in traditional pebble paving, in the traditional finishes category; and the Toledo-based workshop <strong>Hijos de F.
